Happiness is.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
Action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action.
The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.
Happiness is something that I've been thinking quite a lot about. I am so happy! My life is stressful and crazy and there are so many what ifs and unknowns. Usually I would be wrapped up in this and be frusted and not too happy with my life. But when it all comes down to it. Life is absolutely amazing. Too many people sit back and allow things to happen to them, and do not realize what can be doing to their morale. So love what you do, do something about it, love someone and never forget to hope for the future. Your dreams are accessible and are readily available. Reach for the stars.
Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy -- because we will always want to have something else or something more.
Depending on the time of the year...what if it rains?!
I think these boots are adorable! I would love to find something a bit more funky or antique, but I think they're way cool.
You can get umbrellas in just about any color now, but wouldn't clear be really neat?
So my adorable pictures have to do with the rain theme..

Signs!
Heres a couple sweet photos that I like
This one needs an explanation: I love the idea of taking a photo with a thank you note which you then send out in the thank you card... So cute! So thoughtful! Both are from Etsy.com...

Damask, Pom-Pom's etc
I love love love Damask patterns!!! I saw it and just fell in love. It may just be in the invitation, or I may find another way to intricate it all. I'm loving the idea of a travel theme. Each table is from a different place that we've been and where we want to be. Damask on top of this may just be too much... But who can't love this?!
I also love the ideas of other ways to decorate instead of using hundreds of dollars. I love the ideas of candles and mixed textures.
The best part, is that they are DIY and easy!!! They are going to cut down the cost of a wedding for sure and look great!
Some more insight...
I jumped right off into the deep end with dress and hair, but how about the basics? Like the building blocks :insert sara typical grin: My wedding colors are going to be champagne and merlot. Not intending to be wine themed! But definitely loving it anyway!
The main color is the champagne, really light but pretty. Tableclothes, napkins etc will be the champagne and the overlays on the table will be the merlot. I've decided on David's bridal, as cliche as it might be for the bridesmaids. Since they will be coming from all over, its too hard to get it from a boutique or anywhere that isn't national. Each one gets to choose their own knee length champagne dress. My Maid of Honor, my little sister, is going to wear a little spin off of the champagne. Its champagne with a black overlay, its very suiting and "Abby". I want the guys to all wear black suits... I don't really care if they're tuxes... Even Joe's can be a suit!! I love the playful nature of a suit versus a tux as well as its versatility. So here's the boy band shot.... (haha Yes i do know whose photo i picked. but come on if you're gonna go boy-band...)
I love the casual-nature and fun of this next photo!!
Alright, so I love some cute photos that I've come across and I want to share two with y'all!

Flowers!
Now the hair!
First the Dress... Now the hair?
The first is a lovely piece with some pink!!! Which could be fun cause it could coordinate well with the colors!
I think this may be my favorite, it is bendable and can be molded how I want it...
Ok maybe I lied... This one is gorgeous!!!
I am not sure a veil is up my alley... if i do one I will have one sit under the flower and not over my face. I might get claustrophobic if it stays on top!!!
The first Hurrah...
Yesterday my wedding dress arrived. Let me tell you! I cannot wait!!! It is beautiful, simple and elegant. I started to worry about its fit but it was meant to be... It fits like a glove. It was sad though, I opened the box all alone, and was full of butterflies and hope. After a draining couple of months, I began to fear that I would never hold a candle to the beautiful brides in those lovely magazines or websites of the photographers that I could only dream would photograph our day. I was never one to little-girl-plan my wedding, because I knew that it was not going to be right if I planned it without the other person that makes it a wedding. What I did dream of, was moments of girl-squeals and laughter; of my mom crying because her little girl is getting married. It reminds me of the song "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music. I cannot wait to have my family here, with me and planning... The mean-time is difficult however. So here's to the meantime and maybe the after... Cheers!
